St Mary's Primary School School has its own before and after school club that operates during term time from 8am - 8:50am and 3-30pm – 6-00pm. Our club is available to all our pupils from Reception to Year 6 . The club is very popular and often over-subscribed. 

Weekly fees are kept to a minimum and reviewed annually. For the academic year the prices are as follows:

Breakfast Club

£2 per day

Breakfast club staff - Mrs Spencer, Miss Haworth and Mrs Holt

After School Club

3:30pm to 5pm £5 per day

3:30pm to 6pm £7.50 per day

Please be aware the after school club closes at 6.00 p.m. A financial penalty will be incurred if a parent arrives after 6.00 p.m. to pick up their child.

Special Educational Needs

Every effort is made to ensure that all our club members will enjoy and develop within the Club, whatever their particular needs. We ensure that all children are given equal opportunities to take part in all the offered activities whenever it is safe and practicable to do so. We appreciate that some children may need extra support at times, and whether this support is required in the short or long term, it will be given with care and discretion.

Activities

We see play as an essential part of every child’s life, which is vital to the process of human development. It provides the mechanism for children to explore the world around them and is the medium through which skills are developed and practised. It is essential for physical, emotional and spiritual growth, intellectual and educational development and the acquisition of social behavioural skills. Some of the activities will be drama, cooking, sport, computers, television/video, construction (large or small), completing homework (if desired), needlecrafts, music, art, crafts, games, clay, sport, library, dough work, floor toys, reading, chess, relaxing.
